Care Packages

We're still working with social workers to determine the greatest needs for these care packages.

Suggested donated items:

paper towels, toilet paper, wipes, paper plates, plastic cups, plasticware, trash bags, dishwasher tablets, hand soap/sanitizer, laundry detergent,  kids snacks (goldfish, crackers, etc)

Amazon Fire Tablet

Due to the virus, most home visits have been suspended. Social workers would like to make sure the children in their care have a way to communicate with a birth parent (when it's safe) so that relationship doesn't have to be cut off. The tablets can also be used for "learning at home" and communication with the social worker.

You can make a donation (see the link on the bottom of the page) and be sure to indicate COVID-19  in the memo line.

The Entrusted Network is able to secure the tablets at $50/each.

If you want to purchase a tablet on your own and bring it to the designated drop-off site, we would encourage you to use this link below to find the suggested tablet model. This tablet is $50 for Prime members and $80 for non-prime members.

Digital Thermometer

We know that these are hard to find these days, but one agency has requested 25 thermometers for some of their families. If you have an unused one you can donate, please drop it off at our drop-off site. If you want to contribute towards the purchase of these, feel free to donate online.

"Thinking of You" Cards

Want to drop a word of encouragement to a foster family or biological parents whose visits have been suspended due to the virus?

We can collect these cards or letters and get them to people who need your encouragement.

Fun Games or Packages

We'll gladly help distribute board games, card games, puzzles, crafts, bubbles, popcorn, and movies.

Pizza Delivery

One local agency would like to pick one foster family a week to receive a meal. If you can donate a pizza gift card towards that effort, let us know.

Easter Baskets

One agency had planned to distribute Easter baskets to kids in their care. They have many of the items to go inside, but are still in great need of large (empty) Easter baskets.

Let us know if you have extras around your house to spare!

If any of these ideas grab your attention or if you have another idea, please reach out to us!

If you want to help, but are unsure how/where to start, please feel free to follow this link below to make a direct donation.

You will be directed to a Subsplash account (set up by CrossRoads Church). Sign in or sign up (very easy and free) and be sure to designate in the Memo line that your donation is for the COVID-19 RESPONSE.

All of these funds will go directly to the Entrusted Network, who will then pass it along (100%) to any social workers and agencies that have expressed a need.

All donations are tax-deductible.
